Advocacy

At the National Technology Consortium – NTC, we are committed to advancing tech inclusion, digital equity, and workforce accessibility in underserved communities. As technology continues to shape the future, we believe everyone—regardless of background, location, or socioeconomic status—should have access to the tools, resources, and opportunities needed to thrive in the digital economy.

Our Advocacy Focus Areas

Bridging the Digital Divide – We work to ensure that schools, students, and professionals in underrepresented communities have access to technology, high-speed internet, and digital literacy training. Through initiatives like the Tech Inclusion Program, we partner with leading tech companies to provide laptops and essential resources to inner-city schools and aspiring young innovators.

Diversity in Tech – The future of technology should be shaped by diverse perspectives. We advocate for inclusive hiring practices, equitable leadership opportunities, and workforce development programs that create pathways for women, minorities, and underrepresented groups in the tech sector.

Tech Policy & Ethical Innovation – We collaborate with industry leaders, policymakers, and educators to promote responsible technology development, AI ethics, and data privacy regulations that benefit society as a whole.

Workforce & Economic Empowerment – Through our Tech Internship Program and Tech Fellows Program, we create career pipelines that connect aspiring professionals with mentorship, internships, and job placement opportunities in the tech industry.
